Next week, K-Pop group HALO will embark on his first European tour and will perform for the first time in Paris, France. For this special occasion, CKJ’s team had the opportunity to ask the group some questions. Let’s find out what they answered! Enjoy!
Hi, at first could you present yourselves for our readers?
Hi, we run this town! [editor’s note: the group’s slogan] We are HALO!
We’re DINO, OOON, IN HAENG, JAE YONG, HEE CHEON and YOON DONG, the six members composing the boy group HALO.
We’re really happy to come to France. From now on, it would be a great pleasure to visit France more often.
Thank you CKJ’s readers!
Could you tell us what HALO means to each of you with few words?
HALO is something extremely precious. We are grateful to be able to stand on stage, to receive the love of a lot of fans and, for us members, to be together.
This European tour will be a very first European experience for you, what do you want to give and to show to your European HALOVE?
We want to show you a cool side of us! We are confident! ♥
What would you like to do or to visit in France before the end of the tour?
We would like to eat French food, and if possible, to go on a walk in beautiful streets and to go meet people.
What are your upcoming 2018 projects after coming back to South Korea?
We’re currently preparing a new album.
You’re promoting in South Korea but also in Japan, and next June will be your 4th year anniversary. For this special occasion, did you prepare something for your HALOVE?
We have not thought of June’s plans yet, but in the meaningful time we will put an effort to do something. Furthermore, regardless of the anniversary, we are always thankful. We love you!
As artists, what are you dreaming about? Have you ever considered something else in your careers beside music, as acting for example?
The fact that people are happy while listening to our music is a dream.
We would like to challenge ourselves by having activities in various fields, and that’s why we work even harder.
We also would like to have activities like acting, entertainment or modelling, and we work hard on music such as songwriting and composition.
Last July, you talked about the influence Ha Sung Woon of Wanna One had on you while appearing on Produce 101 Season 2. According to you, why is it so hard nowadays to be known among all the Hallyu artist on the market?
We were moved by the hard work he had done on this program after going through a hard time.
Because being famous as an artist requires a lot of different things, such as a good context, timing and sometimes even luck.
It’s important to try hard when we are given a task.
In France, some special academies are opening, based on the same system as South Korean idol academies. What kind of advice could you give to young French people who are learning how to dance and sing in order to debut in an idol band like yours?
We would like to support [those young people] who have the courage to walk step by step toward their dreams.
This dream could either be going to the academy, listening to a lot of music or even studying hard at school. We want to tell you not to give up on your dream and to enjoy it.
To conclude this interview, have you got a last message for your European and French HALOVE?
We are very excited to be able to meet a lot of European and French HALOVE during this tour. We are truly grateful towards people loving us while living in places so far from our country, and also towards people who support us. We love you ! ^^
Thank you Kanzen Music and HALO for this interview! See you next week!
