PIXY, the fairies from South Korea have met us for an interview about their latest album and their passion for music. Enjoy !
Hello, can you introduce yourself?
The group name refers to Pixies from English tales. We have a playful and childlike mischievous side but also a magnificent and dynamic side showing two different sides of attractions. We are a girl group composed of 6 members: Ella, Lola, Satbyeol, Dia, Sua, and Dajeong.
Can you tell us more about why you decided to become singers and dancers?
We wanted to share happiness with our music with many people.
With Wings and Let Me Know, the concept of Pixy is more “girl crush” and “evil”, but in The Moon performance, we can see your “boyish” side. How do you feel about experiencing all those different concepts?
We think it was good that we could show various sides! We plan to keep challenging ourselves and try different genres and styles thinking about our Winxy!
“Temptation”, please, tell us more about this album.
It’s the last chapter of Fairy Forest, where we are swallowed by the witch and the album puts a full stop in our universe.

You’re fairies without wings, do you think you’ll get them back in the future albums?
Since we are on a journey to find our wings, perhaps it can be assumed that we can get our wings? We will leave that up to your imagination!
Members like DaJeong debuted while still being at school, wasn’t it hard to do both at the same time?
Dajeong : So sleeping less and spending time both as an idol and a student is difficult. It is quite tiring but I am doing my best balancing school and idol life.
On your YouTube channel, there are many videos in backstage, in your daily life, (Pixy TV for example) in order to show winxy a bit of your life, how would you describe your relationship with your fans?
We can’t be separated from Winxy. As you know, our Winxys are like our wings so we can’t fly without them!
When you are all together, what are your hobbies?
Normally, we all meet up and chat often !!
Do you have a message for the French and European winxy?
Winxy~~ We hope for the opportunity to go to France and Europe to see you all in person and enjoy the moment together! We are always grateful that you love us and we love you so much!
