Bonjour les garçons, pouvez-vous vous présenter et nous expliquer la signification de votre nom de groupe ?
Youngbin : Bonjour, je suis le charme inattendu du groupe, Youngbin ! Le nom du groupe BLANK2Y est une association du mot “blank” et du mot “key” !
Sungjun : Bonjour, je suis Sungjun de BLANK2Y ! Cette combinaison exprime l’envie d’ouvrir un espace infini avec une clé et le remplir avec les fans.
Pouvez-vous nous confier quand, individuellement parlant, vous avez commencé à rêver de venir chanteur ?
Donghyuk : Mon professeur de primaire m’a donné la chance de chanter devant mes camarades, et j’ai reçu beaucoup de compliments. Chanter m’a toujours rendu heureux. Depuis, je rêvais de devenir chanteur !
Mikey : Au collège, j’avais des inquiétudes depuis que mes activités extra-scolaires, dont j’étais passionné, s’arrêtèrent. En regardant un show musical au Japon, j’ai commencé à rêver de devenir chanteur après la performance des AAA Lil Infinity. Mon intérêt pour la K-pop a augmenté quand j’étais au lycée, et voir Yuta des NCT se produire sur scène m’a poussé à poursuivre mon rêve de devenir artiste K-pop.
Vous êtes tous différents, et venez de milieux variés. Comment faire pour maintenir cette harmonie de groupe ?
U : Tous les membres partagent les mêmes centres d’intérêt et il nous arrive de jouer beaucoup ensemble, ce qui nous rapproche. En plus, dès que nous nous entrainons, nous avons le sentiment d’être unis et de faire un bon travail d’équipe.
Décrivez-nous votre style musical !
Youngbin : Je décrirai notre musique, grâce à la passion et la confiance des membres, comme de la musique qui affecte de façon positive le public.
Vous venez tout juste de faire votre comeback avec K2Y II : PASSION [FUEGO], dîtes-en nous plus !
Sungjun : L’album K2Y II : PASSION [FUEGO] incarne la passion et le pouvoir de BLANK2Y, qui font ressortir la passion de K2YWE.
Vous êtes très actifs sur YouTube. Est-ce qu’il y a une performance ou un show que vous souhaitez partager aux fans ? Celui/celle qui vous semble le plus représentatif.
Sodam : Nos showcases ainsi que la série BLANK2Y vous permettront de voir l’alchimie du groupe. Je les recommande vivement !
Pendant vos pré-débuts, vous avez interprété énormément de reprises, laquelle est votre favorite ?
DK : D’un point de vue personnel, celle que je préfère est THRILL RIDE des THE BOYZ. On y voit le côté frais et énergique de BLANK2Y également.
Louis : Celle que j’affectionne est Deja Vu de ATEEZ, que j’ai reprise. Je les ai toujours vu comme de véritables artistes et j’aime la chanson pour ce qu’elle est.
K2YWE sont souvent décrits comme les 10e membres, qu’est-ce qu’ils signifient pour vous ?
Dongkyuk : Les fans sont tout ce que nous avons. Sans les K2YWE, l’existence du groupe n’aurait aucun sens.
La covid a changé la façon dont les groupes se produisent, avez-vous hâte de retrouver vos fans à l’étranger, de les rencontrer en Corée ? Comment souhaitez-vous interagir avec eux ?
Mikey : Je suis super excité à l’idée de les rencontrer. Avant nos débuts, les commentaires de notre PDG sur une future tournée nous semblait irréels, mais après avoir débuté et en voyant notre fandom s’agrandir, je suis ému par le fait que nous ayons des fans dans le monde entier.
Si possible, pouvez-vous nous en dire plus sur vos futurs projets ?
DK : BLANK2Y continuera de montrer différentes facettes à travers musiques et performances, et nous prévoyons de visiter le plus de pays possible avec des évènements prévus pour les fans.
Avez-vous un dernier message à transmettre à vos fans français et européens ?
Youngbin : BLANK2Y est un groupe capable de dévoiler différentes couleurs et charmes, continuez de nous transmettre votre amour et votre soutien !

Hello guys, can you please introduce yourself and tell us more about the meaning of your name?
Youngbin: Hello, I’m the unexpected charm of the group, Youngbin! The group name BLANK2Y is a cobination of the word “blank” and the word “key”!
Sungjun: Hello, I’m Sungjun of BLANK2Y! The group name BLANK2Y is a combination of the word “blank” and the word “key” which express the meaning of wanting to open up a blank and infinite space with a key and fill it up along with the fans.
Can you tell us individually about the moment you started dreaming of becoming a singer?
Donghyuk: My teacher during first grade gave me a chance to sing in front of my peers, and I got a lot of compliments about my singing skills so I’ve always felt that singing makes me happy. Since then, I dreamed of becoming a singer!
Mikey: When I was in 8th grade, I had concerns about my career ever since my after school activity, which I was very passionate about, ended. Then, while I was watching a music show in Japan, I started to dream about becoming a singer after watching AAA perform “Lil’ Infinity”. My interest in K-Pop grew when I was a junior in high school, and watching Yuta of NCT perform on stage made me more determined to pursue my dream as a K-Pop artist.
You are all so different, coming from different backgrounds (as a baseball player, coming from Japan)… How do you manage to be this harmonious in what you are doing ? What’s your method?
U: All the members have similar hobbies and we tend to play games together a lot which really brought us closer together. Also, we get a sense of becoming unified as a team whenever we practice our performance and we have great teamwork as well.
Can you speak about your music style? How would you describe it?
Youngbin: I would define our music as something that could positively affect the public with the group’s unique passion and confidence.
You’ve just made your comeback with K2Y II : PASSION [FUEGO], please, tell us more about it.
Sungjun: The album K2Y II : PASSION [FUEGO] contains BLANK2Y’s unique passion and power that could spark K2YWE’s inner passion!!
You also released a lot of content on Youtube. Do you have a video, a performance or a show you want to share with your fans that represents you the most? Please share the link if it has been released already.
Sodam: You will be able to see our performance showcase videos as well as the BLANK2Y’s series that shows the group chemistry. I strongly recommend it!
During your pre-debut, you’ve also interpreted a lot of covers, which one is your favorite (individually and as a group) ?
DK: My personal favorite is “THRILL RIDE” by THE BOYZ. It is a cover video that shows BLANK2Y’s refreshing side very well.
Louis: My favorite is “Deja Vu” by ATEEZ which I did a cover of. I’ve always looked up to them as an artist and I just love the song itself as well.
Since Covid has changed a lot the way groups are now performing, are you looking forward meeting your fans abroad, meeting them in Korea ? What do you want to do with them and for them ?
Mikey: I am fluttering with excitement. Before the debut, the comments from our CEO that we will be going on tour didn’t seem real, but after we debuted and started to grow a fandom, I’m overwhelmed by the fact that we have fans all over the world.
Can you tell us more (if possible) about your future projects ?
DK: BLANK2Y will show various sides of the group through different music and performances, and we are also planning to visit as many countries as possible with a lot of events for the fans. Please look forward to it!
Do you have a last word for your French and European fans ?
Youngbin: BLANK2Y is a group that’s capable of showing various charms and colors, so please continue to send love and support to us!

성준: 안녕하세요 저는 블랭키에서 성준을 담당하고 있는 성준입니다!
블랭키는 공백을 뜻하는 블랭크와 열쇠, 실마리를 뜻하는 키의 합성어로 팬분들과 함께 빈 공백을 열고 채워나간다는 의미입니다!!
언제부터 가수의 꿈을 키우게 됐는지 말씀해주세요 .
동혁: 초등학교 1학년 때 담임선생님께서 친구들 앞에서 노래를 시키셨는데 엄청 칭찬을 받았고, 많은 사람들 앞에서 노래를 부르는 것이 행복한 일이라고 느꼈습니다. 그 이후로 쭉 가수를 꿈꿨습니다!
마이키: 저는 중학교 2학년 때입니다.
그때 동아리를 그만두고 앞으로 뭐 해야 되지… 했을 때 일본에서 음악방송을 보다가 AAA 선배님의 Lil Infinity를 보고 가수의 꿈을 키우기 시작했고, 고등학교 2학년 때부터 K-POP에 관심이 생겼는데 그때 NCT YUTA 선배님을 보고 가수를 하고 싶다고 결심했습니다.
여러분 모두 각기 다른 환경에서 자라고 다른 인생을 살아오셨는데요, 서로 호흡을 맞추고 화합을 이루기 위해 어떤 노력을 하시나요?
유: 저희는 일단 멤버들이 공통된 취미생활이 많고, 게임도 같이 하면서 친해지고 특히 같이 연습할 때 다 같이 함께한다는 생각이 빠른 시간 내에 잘 맞는 호흡을 보여준 것 같습니다

DK: 저는 개인적으로 더보이즈 선배님의 Thrill Ride라는 곡인데요 블랭키의 청량한 모습을 잘 보여줄 수 있는 커버댄스였다고 생각해서 제일 좋아하게 되었습니다
루이: 개인적으로는 제가 췄었던 에이티즈 선배님의 Deja V인데요 제가 평소에 존경하는 선배님이고 좋아하는 곡이기 때문에 고르게 되었습니다!
K2YWE 팬들은 그룹의 10번째 멤버라고도 불리는데요, 팬들은 여러분에게 어떤 의미인가요?
동혁: 저희의 모든 것이라고 생각합니다 아무래도 키위가 없으면 저희는 아무런 의미가 없어지니까요
코로나-19가 공연환경에 큰 영향을 끼쳤었는데, 여러분은 국내와 해외 팬들을 만날 생각에 설레시나요? 팬들을 위해 무엇을 해주고 싶고 팬들과 어떤것을 같이 하고 싶으신가요?
마이키: 너무 설렜어요. 데뷔 전까지는 대표님께 투어에 대해 설명을 들어도 실감이 안 났었는데 데뷔하고 저희를 응원해 주시는 팬분들이 생기고, 그게 한국뿐만이 아니라 세계 각국에 계신다는 게 믿기가 않아요…
저는 앞으로 팬분들이랑 1분 1초라도 더 함께 하고 싶은 마음이라서 팬사인회는 물론이고 팬분들과 함께 하는 이벤트를 더 많이 하고 싶습니다!
가능하다면, 앞으로 진행될 프로젝트에 대해서 조금만 설명해주실수 있으세요?
